Become one with nature with a Wildlife Walk at the CROW’s Visitor Education Center 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30. Visitors get a behind-the-scenes look into the hospital and the volunteers that care for the animals there. You will receive a guided tour through the treatment areas of the hospital. The program is open to everyone but it is not recommended for children under the age of 13. The cost for the tour is $20. For more information, call (239) 472-3644, ext. 228.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve on Fort Myers Beach, with a Sunset Celebration from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Times Square.

Enjoy Some Jazz

One of Southwest Florida’s favorite entertainment groups is Dusk Duo Live, which is performing 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Traditions on the Beach. The group performs a variety of classic jazz, modern pop and rock music that will get you moving on New Year’s Eve.

New Year’s Eve Sunset Sail Plus Fireworks

A New Year’s Eve Sunset Sail Cruise and Fireworks Celebration will be held 5:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Dec. 31. Watch the fireworks from the boat with a great seat on the water. Cost is $100 per person and includes champagne.

Fort Myers Beach Sunset Celebration

Say goodbye to the sun one last time in 2016! Celebrate New Year’s Eve on Fort Myers Beach, with a Sunset Celebration from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Times Square. There will be live music, food and family fun.

New Year’s Eve in Downtown Fort Myers

Come to downtown Fort Myers for its first New Year’s Eve Downtown Countdown Celebration 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy drinks, food, live music and vendors. Kids can enjoy a Junior Balloon Drop and giveaway event at 9 p.m. The real Ball Drop and fireworks commence at midnight.
